Italy is a very great country that offers so many places to get married in, starting from the big well known cities, to the very small villages, fascinating and full of history and magic.

Among those lasts there is Petritoli.

Petritoli is a small village in the Fermo area, surrounded by the sweet hills of the Marche region, where Tim and Nikki, from Washinghton, have chosen to pronounce the big I DO, among the friends and relatives who left America to participate to their happiness.

A wedding in Petritoli is a daily dream for several reasons: for the wonderful view of the hills that surround it, for the constant sensation to be in a fairy tale that you have by walking down the alleys, for the splendours that suddenly get unveil on the most hidden corners and that let you think “WOW!”, for the magnificence of Palazzo Mannocchi, the historical residence in which you have the feeling to be noble, and then the theatre, the three arches, the tower… and not for last, the warmth that the people living here can transmit with thousands of smiles and that let feel immediately at home even to the ones who live on the other side of the world.

The word that I think better represents Petritoli is “wedding favor”: small and absolutely delicious!

Tim and Nikki get married just here, on a day of the beginning of May, with a wedding characterised by a relaxed and joyful air, typical of the ones who knows how to fully enjoy every moment.

The ceremony had place on the spectacular frame of the theatre and the song that a friend sing to the couple at the end of the celebration has been the “icing on the cake”.

But one of the thing I most loved of this wedding in Petritoli (and there are really a lot!) has been the stop to the ice cream shop immediately after the ceremony. Enjoy a very Italian style ice cream to start the party among chat, laughs and pictures not only with the guests but also with the people of Petritoli, who never say no when there is the opportunity to party.

And speaking about party and celebrations, there has been a lot, with wild dances and a contagious happiness.
